Re-Action Collective / One Tree at a Time

When friends Heather Davies and Gavin Fernie-Jones saw how much waste was being created from the outdoor industry in their small village in the French Alps, they decided to take action. A community repair day led to a community hub, which in turn led to the Re-Action Collective.

Re-Action is a collective of incredible organisations challenging the status quo with community-based circular solutions for the outdoor industry. Members rescue products, revive them through repair and repurpose them - then redistribute items through resale, rental and donation and reallocate profits to regenerate the outdoors.

Based in Bozel below the famous Trois Vallées ski area, Gavin runs One Tree at a Time, the community hub that started this growing movement.

Yak Media collaborated with Re-Action to create a series of short films, for social media and funding appeals.
